Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site"), operated by Kyte ("Kyte", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to the Site only. They do not govern the use of the Kyte protocol smart contracts or any interface to them, which will be subject to separate terms when made available.

The Site exists to describe Kyte, a planned non-custodial options protocol on Robinhood Chain. This website is for information only. Kyte's contracts are not live yet. The Site does not provide any trading functionality, does not connect to wallets, and does not accept deposits, orders or personal information.

Descriptions of the protocol reflect its current design and may change before or after launch. Nothing on the Site guarantees that the protocol will launch, or that it will launch with any particular feature, parameter or timeline.

Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, token, derivative or other financial product. References to a planned Kyte token describe a design intention only; the token has not been launched and nothing on the Site is an offer of securities or tokens.

Nothing on the Site is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. You should consult your own qualified advisers before making any decision. Any examples, including worked examples involving illustrative tokens and amounts, are for explanation only.

You are responsible for ensuring that your access to the Site and, once available, your use of the protocol complies with the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction.

When the protocol is live, it may not be used by:

• persons or entities located in, organised in, or ordinarily resident in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions;
• persons or entities on any sanctions or restricted-party list maintained by applicable authorities;
• persons located in any jurisdiction where options, crypto-asset derivatives or similar products are prohibited or restricted, to the extent of that restriction.

The Kyte name, wordmark, logos, brand artwork and the text and design of the Site are owned by Kyte or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the Kyte name or brand assets in a manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation or official status without our prior written permission.

Open-source smart contract code, once published, will be governed by the licence stated in its repository.

"Robinhood Chain" is used solely to identify the network on which Kyte is designed to operate. Kyte is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Robinhood.

The Site links to third-party services, including X (formerly Twitter) and, where applicable, blockchain explorers. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Be aware that impersonation is common in crypto. Official Kyte announcements are made only through @useKyte on X.

The Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Site content may change at any time without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kyte and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, tokens or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
